Senior QA (Fintech)

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Analyst to join our FinTech team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our financial products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a regulated, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Define, design, and execute comprehensive test strategies for FinTech applications

Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web and backend systems

Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure complete test coverage

Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution

Validate data integrity, calculations, and financial logic across systems

Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and reviews

Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to ensure quality from early stages

Support release processes and provide final quality sign-off

Continuously improve QA processes, standards, and documentation

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing

Strong experience testing complex web-based and backend systems

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC

Experience with manual testing; exposure to test automation is a strong plus

Experience working with APIs (REST), databases (SQL), and backend services

Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Understanding of FinTech or financial systems (payments, lending, banking, or similar domains)

Nice to Have

Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)

Knowledge of security, performance, or compliance testing

Experience testing financial calculations, transactions, and integrations with third-party providers

ISTQB or similar QA certification
