QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join a miltech-related software project operating in a regulated international environment with high requirements for quality, reliability, and process discipline.
This role is offered as a project-based, hourly cooperation format.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain test strategies and test plans (functional, regression, integration)
Execute manual and automated testing across web and mobile applications
Develop and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and database validation
Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and hidden defects
Document, track, and communicate defects with clear reproduction steps and severity
Provide quality metrics, risk assessments, and release recommendations
Collaborate closely with development teams to verify fixes and ensure quality standards
Requirements
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
Strong background in manual and automated testing
Experience with automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and SQL
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience working in Agile environments
Good spoken and written English
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
Additional Requirements (Important)
Candidates must be physically located in and hold residency of NATO member countries
Experience with miltech / defence-related projects is a strong advantage
