QA Engineer to $4000

We are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical Manual & Automation QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through a mix of manual testing and automation. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify bugs, validate features, and continuously improve the user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Develop and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, UI/UX, exploratory, and automated testing.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily standups to stay aligned with development progress.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvements based on testing outcomes.
• Ensure that all testing activities comply with company and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer with exposure to test automation.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Python, or similar).
• Understanding of SQL and APIs; ability to test at the database and service layer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an agile team.
