Middle Full Stack JavaScript developer with AI expertise to $2800

Project & Team Description

We are seeking a Middle-level Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join a distributed team working on a large-scale, web-based information system for a public-sector organization.

The platform focuses on:

• Centralized data collection and management
• Process automation and workflow optimization
• Real-time reporting and analytics
• Integration with multiple external systems and registries

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to building reliable, scalable solutions while leveraging modern AI-assisted development practices.

• A developer who actively uses AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality
• Strong judgment on when AI assistance is appropriate versus when manual expertise is required
• Ability to make independent technical decisions
• Comfort working across the entire application stack

Required Technical Skills

Frontend

• At least 4 years of experience with modern JavaScript / TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with React.js or Vue.js, including:
  • Hooks
  • State management
  • Component-based architecture
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers (Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn)

Backend

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js or similar frameworks
• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms
  (JWT, OAuth, etc.)

AI Code Generation Tools

• Proven experience using AI-powered coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools
• Ability to write effective prompts for code generation
• Experience reviewing, refining, and improving AI-generated code
• Clear understanding of AI tool limitations and when to rely on traditional development approaches

Nice to Have

• Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, etc.)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
• Experience in an outsourcing or agency environment with multiple concurrent projects
• Understanding of microservices architecture
