Lead Software Engineer – Systems and Infrastructure

About project

The project focuses on managing and securing large-scale engineering infrastructure that supports development and testing activities. It involves maintaining distributed on-premises and cloud-based environments, including servers, applications, databases, and test systems, while driving security initiatives and improving overall system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a hands-on technical lead supporting large-scale hardware and systems infrastructure.
• Own the lifecycle of infrastructure support, including onboarding new systems, maintaining and upgrading existing environments, and driving continuous improvements.
• Lead and contribute to hardware incident management, ensuring timely resolution and system reliability.
• Design and implement automated solutions to balance workloads and content across server pools, improving performance and availability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system design, operations, and security best practices.

   

Requirements:

• Proficiency in C# and PowerShell for systems automation and tooling.
• Working knowledge of C++ in systems or infrastructure-related environments.
• Solid experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience with cloud-based and distributed systems.
• Background in designing, maintaining, and scaling infrastructure with a focus on reliability and automation.

• Ability to lead technically while remaining deeply involved in implementation and problem-solving.
