Software Development Engineer – Infrastructure

About project

The project focuses on managing and securing large-scale engineering infrastructure that supports development and testing activities. It involves supporting distributed on-premises and cloud-based environments, including servers, applications, databases, and test systems, while contributing to security initiatives and overall system reliability. As a Software Development Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers to maintain and evolve infrastructure services, develop internal tools, and automate operational processes using C#, PowerShell, and Azure technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation and internal tools for hardware and engineering infrastructure using C# and PowerShell.
• Support and improve hardware lab and test environments across on-premises and Azure-connected systems.
• Assist with infrastructure and hardware lifecycle management (onboarding, upgrades, maintenance).
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to improve reliability, scalability, and operability of test systems.
• Participate in incident investigation and resolution.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and security improvements for infrastructure services.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with C# and PowerShell for systems automation and tooling, along with basic to intermediate working knowledge of C++ in systems or infrastructure-related environments.
• Experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud-based and distributed systems.
• Understanding of infrastructure reliability, monitoring, and automation concepts.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and take ownership of assigned technical tasks.
