Middle Android Developer

Now, we are expanding into Arab countries and Europe, enhancing content quality, and rolling out new features to keep users hooked. We are among the Top 5 streaming products in the US and rank in the Top 10 worldwide. Our next milestone: break into the global Top 5, and we are moving fast to make it happen.

So, we are looking for a Middle Android Developer to join our engineering team. You will be involved in building a scalable Android application, using up-to-date technologies and best engineering practices

In this role you will
 

• Develop and maintain a high-performance Android application using modern development approaches
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Participate in technical decision-making and contribute to building scalable application architecture
• Work on improving user experience and key product metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Android, backend, design, product) during ideation, design, and feature development
• Take part in code reviews and share best engineering practices within the team

 It’s all about you

• 2+ years of experience in native Android development
• Strong practical experience with Kotlin
• Hands-on experience with Coroutines and Flow
• Strong proficiency in Jetpack Compose
• Experience working with multi-module projects
• Deep understanding of the Android SDK
• Solid knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and MVI/MVVM patterns
• Strong focus on writing high-quality, clean, and testable code
• Experience with Dagger 2 / Hilt
• Practical experience with third-party libraries such as Room, Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide, etc.
• Intermediate English or higher

Would be a plus
 

• Strong interest in modern software development trends
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of mobile application performance optimization techniques
