Mid Backend Engineer(Java) – AdTech/High-Scale Systems

Key Focus for This Role (Highest Priority)

• Hands-on experience with high-scale / distributed systems – critical
• Strong Java + Spring Boot development experience
• Microservices architecture, Docker + Kubernetes
• Production experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and Git workflows

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mid Back-End Developer to work on complex backend systems, contribute to technical architecture decisions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving challenging problems, building scalable and reliable services, and improving system performance in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modular backend services and APIs using Java + Spring Boot
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements → design → coding → testing → deployment → monitoring
• Collaborate with Product, Algo, DevOps, BI, and Marketing to deliver integrated solutions
• Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, and security of backend services
• Implement observability using logging, metrics, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana)
• Contribute to code quality, documentation, and adoption of best practices
• Support knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of professional Java development experience
• Proven experience in designing and delivering microservices and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of scalability, concurrency, and performance optimization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment
• Proficiency in Spring & Spring Boot frameworks
• Ability to design services that scale efficiently in Kubernetes environments
• Experience using profiling, benchmarking, or APM tools (JFR, JMeter, Micrometer, New Relic, Datadog)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Advantages / Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the programmatic advertising ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, exchanges)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Couchbase) and SQL databases
• Familiarity with reactive programming (Spring WebFlux)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana
