Trainee QA Engineer to $700

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the Octy team and work on a pet-focused product, gradually contributing to other company projects as well.

This product helps pet owners find reliable people to take care of their pets and stay in their homes while the owners are away.

Required skills

• At least 3 months of experience testing web applications or a strong self-learning background
• Basic understanding of QA principles and testing fundamentals
• Knowledge of SDLC
• Confident use of Browser DevTools (Chrome / Safari / Firefox)
• Basic understanding of HTTP and client-server architecture

Will be a plus

• Experience with mobile app testing (iOS / Android)
• Basic experience with Proxyman, Postman, or Charles (API testing)
• Knowledge of Xcode or Android Studio
• Understanding of mobile UX guidelines
• Experience with BrowserStack or similar tools

Responsibilities

• Manual testing of web applications
• Execute test cases and checklists, find, reproduce and report bugs
• UI/UX validation
• Verify fixes and run regression tests
• Team collaboration and QA process support
• Participate in basic QA processes and workflow improvements
