Junior / Middle Service Engineer with C#, PowerShell, Azure
As Akvelon continues to expand, we are looking to hire talented Junior/ Middle Service Engineers, supporting both Support platforms and Hardware / Infrastructure operations.
This role focuses on operational execution, troubleshooting, case management, and maintaining system reliability, leveraging automation and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:Service Engineer – Support Team
Focus:
Operational support of internal support workflows, case intake, triage, and resolution.
Tech Stack:
- C#, PowerShell – scripting for automation and operational tasks
- Azure / Cloud Systems – integration with cloud-hosted support services
- Azure DevOps (AzDO) – pipelines, work item tracking, and CI/CD automation
Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor and triage incoming support cases
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues, providing solutions or workarounds
- Execute and maintain operational automation scripts and workflows
- Collaborate with SDE Engineers on recurring issues or deeper investigations
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base for support processes
- Ensure operational workflows are reliable, consistent, and production-ready
Service Engineer – Hardware Team
Focus:
Operational support of infrastructure, servers, and hardware lifecycle management.
Tech Stack:
- C#, PowerShell – automation and operational tooling
- Azure / Cloud Systems – integration, monitoring, and infrastructure support
Core Responsibilities:
- Support Windows Server–based infrastructure and on-prem resources
- Execute hardware onboarding, configuration, upgrades, and decommissioning
- Validate server readiness (storage, BIOS, networking, OS configuration)
- Rebalance content across server pools to ensure reliability and performance
- Participate in hardware incident management lifecycle
- Debug and escalate operational issues while avoiding production incidents
- Maintain runbooks and operational documentation
General Requirements (Both Teams)
- Hands-on experience with C#, PowerShell, and Azure
- Strong troubleshooting, operational discipline, and incident resolution skills
- Familiarity with automation and cloud-based operational workflows
Working conditions:
- Be ready to work a few hours each day with an overlap with the client’s time zone.
- For candidates from Serbia, Poland, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia: Remote or Hybrid;
- For candidates from Egypt: Visiting office in New Cairo for 5 times per week (from Monday to Friday).
