Middle iOS Software Engineer (IRC284646) Offline

We are seeking a iOS Engineer to help expand our FDA-regulated mobile applications
into international markets. This role focuses on UI localization and internationalization while ensuring compliance with the rigorous standards of the medical device industry. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality software that supports patients worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-4 years of iOS development experience (internships, academic, or personal projects acceptable).
• Proficiency in Swift; familiarity with SwiftUI and iOS localization frameworks.
• Understanding of mobile app accessibility, dynamic type, and multilingual support.
• Knowledge of iOS localization and internationalization tools (e.g., .strings, .xliff, localized assets).
• Exposure to state management (TCA, Redux, or MVVM).
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn quality-driven development practices.
• Experience with Git and Agile software development preferred.

Job responsibilities

• Translate and implement UI in multiple languages using iOS localization frameworks while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Adapt layouts and flows to meet internationalization best practices (e.g., RTL, dynamic type, accessibility).
• Contribute to app features using SwiftUI and The Composable Architecture (TCA).
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code that aligns with IEC 62304 and internal quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation to support FDA and ISO requirements.
• Collaborate with QA, regulatory, and product teams to validate translations and ensure consistent UX across global markets.
• May require weekly/daily sync up meetings in US time zones (PST and EST).
