Requirements:
- Ukrainian language is a must.
- 4+ years of experience in product design with a strong focus on UX and UI.
- Proven experience designing web-based products, not only marketing websites.
- Experience working on products built from scratch or at an early stage.
- Strong proficiency with Figma (design systems, components, prototyping).
- Solid understanding of web UX patterns, interaction design, and responsive layouts.
- Ability to design clear, intuitive workflows for complex functionality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A well-structured portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work and design reasoning.
Responsibilities:
- Product Design: Design end-to-end user experiences for Luminar Web, including the web editor, AI-powered tools, and supporting platform flows.
- UX Foundations: Help establish UX patterns, interaction principles, and design foundations for the Web platform, aligned with Luminar’s visual language.
- Editor Experience: Design intuitive workflows for AI-powered photo editing features, focusing on clarity, speed, and perceived value.
- SEO-driven Tools: Design lightweight, upload-based photo tools that connect seamlessly with the core Web product.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, PMMs, and other designers to align on goals, scope, and implementation.
- Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to explore, validate, and communicate design solutions.
- Consistency: Ensure consistency and quality across all Web surfaces, while accounting for web-specific constraints and opportunities.
Will be a plus:
- Being a photographer or hobbyist photographer, with practical experience using photo editing tools.
- Experience designing creative tools, editors, or AI-powered products.
- Experience working with shared design systems across multiple platforms.
- Familiarity with SEO-driven products or upload-to-value user flows.
What we offer:
For personal growth:
- A chance to work with a strong team and a unique opportunity to make substantial contributions to our award-winning photo editing tools;
- An educational allowance to ensure that your skills stay sharp;
- English and German classes to strengthen your capabilities and widen your knowledge.

- A great environment where you’ll work with true professionals and amazing colleagues whom you’ll call friends quickly;
- The choice of working remotely or in our office space located on Podil, equipped with everything you might need for productive and comfortable work.
For health:
- Medical insurance;
- Twenty-one days of paid sick leave per year;
- Healthy fruit snacks full of vitamins to keep you energized.
For leisure:
- Twenty-one days of paid vacation per year;
- Fun times at our frequent team-building activities;
