Junior Manual QA Engineer

Code & Cakes is looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer (1 - 1.5 years of commercial experience) to join our team.

You’ll work on real products across different domains, collaborate closely with developers and PMs, and grow your QA skills in a flexible, high-trust environment without micromanagement.

Responsibilities

• Manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Working on multiple projects in parallel
• Creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports, test decomposition, traceability matrix)
• Analyzing requirements and ensuring full test coverage
• Participating in QA process improvements
• Close collaboration with developers and PMs
   

Requirements

• 1 - 1.5 years of commercial experience in manual QA
• Experience testing web and mobile applications
• Understanding of SDLC / STLC
• Experience with test design techniques
• Ability to work independently and manage time
• Strong attention to detail and responsibility
• Motivation to grow in QA
   

Nice to have

• Experience working with multiple projects
• Experience with different domains
• Basic knowledge of Agile / Scrum
• Experience with ClickUp, Linear, or similar tools
• Outsourcing experience
