Pre-Sales Manager
Omisoft is looking for a Pre-Sales Manager who will play a critical role in driving business growth by supporting the sales team with technical expertise, product presentations, and the development of customized software solutions for prospective clients
This role involves leading the technical discovery process, designing tailored solutions, and working collaboratively to ensure alignment between customer needs and the company’s delivery capabilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Discovery&Client Needs Analysis
Lead discovery calls and workshops with potential clients to understand their business goals, challenges, and high-level requirements
• Solution Shaping & Delivery Alignment
Collaborate with delivery managers and technical teams to define optimal solutions, delivery approaches, and engagement models.
• Pre-Sales Documentation&Proposals
Prepare and coordinate proposals, statements of work, estimates, timelines, and other pre-sales documentation.
• RFP/RFQ Participation
Contribute to and manage responses to RFPs and RFQs, ensuring clarity, structure, and alignment with client expectations.
• Client Presentations & Communication
Participate in client meetings, solution presentations, and follow-up discussions, clearly communicating proposed solutions and value.
• Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with sales, delivery, and technical teams to validate scope, assumptions, estimates, and risks.
• Service Delivery Knowledge
Maintain a strong understanding of services, delivery models, and project experience to effectively support pre-sales activities.
• Pre-Sales to Delivery Handover
Ensure a structured handover of knowledge, documentation, and assumptions from pre-sales to delivery teams.
• Process&Materials Improvement
Continuously improve pre-sales processes, templates, and internal materials
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical sales role within an IT services or software development company
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and delivery models (T&M, fixed price, dedicated teams)
• Ability to translate business needs into structured solutions and clear documentation
• Confident communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with CRM systems and managing multiple opportunities
• Proactive, analytical, and problem-solving mindset
Preferred Skills
• Experience working with international clients (EU / US)
• Familiarity with web and mobile development and cloud-based solutions
• Experience in outsourcing or outstaffing environments
• Participation in complex discovery phases or multi-stakeholder engagements
