Manual QA Engineer

       Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct manual testing of Web, Mobile and API functionality, ensuring high quality and deep coverage of business-critical features. 
  • Participate in end-to-end feature testing: 
  • Review and analyze system requirements, create and maintain detailed test cases, checklists, and testing documentation 
  • execute test cases and bug/test reporting 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and expected behavior. 
  • Participate in Demo sessions for stakeholders and support clear communication regarding testing progress and product quality. 
  • Work with monitoring and logging tools to investigate issues and provide detailed feedback to developers. 
  • Perform basic database testing 
  • Support performance and integration testing 

 
Requirements: 

  • Strong hands-on experience in API Testing (Postman, Swagger, Hoppscotch, etc.). 
  • Strong experience in Web Testing (DevTools (a must) and cross-browser testing tools (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs or alternatives) 
  • Experience in Mobile testing (native apps) 
  • Understanding of STLC/SDLC, CI/CD processes, HTTP standards, status codes, headers, cookies, authentication flows (OAuth2, tokens, sessions), etc. 
  • Good understanding of JSON, XML 
  • Knowledge of the general ISTQB principles. 
  • Experience working with test management systems (TestRail, Testomat, or equivalents). 
  • Experience in DB testing 
  • English โ€” Upper-Intermediate / Advanced. Daily communication with international stakeholders is required. 

As a plus: 

  • Experience in reporting or Power BI testing. 
  • Experience in integration, performance, or security testing. 
  • Knowledge of German or French (Intermediate+).
