.NET Engineer, (Ukraine)

We are looking for a  Senior/Str Middle .Net developer to join a product engineering team and work on the modernization and scalability of a large-scale backend platform.

You’ll be working with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, microservices, and real-time data processing, helping migrate legacy components to modern, cloud-ready services.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain containerized .NET Core microservices.
• Build event-driven communication and streaming flows using Kafka, RabbitMQ, and MassTransit.
• Design scalable solutions together with product and engineering teams.
• Drive migration from legacy .NET Framework and MSMQ components to modern services.
• Work with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design and clean code principles.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

   

What we’re looking for

• 5 - 8+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Kafka and RabbitMQ — mandatory.
• Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience designing and working with APIs.
• Understanding of security practices such as OAuth2, JWT, and secrets management.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with testing, clean code, and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.

• Ability and willingness to mentor other developers.

   

Nice to have

• AWS — ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch.
• MassTransit or similar orchestration libraries.
• Experience with infrastructure and cloud-native systems.
• MSMQ and legacy system migration experience.
• CI/CD, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.
• JavaScript/React for cross-layer collaboration.
