Manual QA Engineer (Strong Middle) to $1500

Firesale is a product company building a mobile app and web platform that allows users to create AI-generated listings simply by recording a video.

We’ve raised $1.5M in investment and secured an additional $500K in grants and credit programs from companies like NVIDIA, Google, Amazon, and others — giving us a solid runway and the ability to scale confidently.

We are looking for a Strong Middle Manual QA Engineer who will own the quality of key user flows and help ensure stability across mobile and web platforms.

Responsibilities

• Test the iOS mobile application and the web version
• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing
• Validate UI/UX, application states, and business logic
• Conduct API testing using Postman
• Create and maintain test cases and checklists
• Log and track bugs in Jira
• Analyze requirements and work closely with developers and the CTO
• Test across various environments: devices, OS versions, network conditions
• Participate in release planning and risk assessment

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA
• Experience testing mobile or web applications
• Strong hands-on experience with API testing (Postman)
• Ability to write structured test cases, checklists, and clear bug reports
• Understanding of client–server architecture, HTTP, JSON
• Understanding of testing real-time or background processes
• Experience working with Jira
• High attention to detail, reliability, and structured thinking
• Ability to work in a fast-moving product environment
