Full Stack Engineer for AI-Powered Web App

What is the purpose of this position?

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with an emphasis on Backend development on Node.js to strengthen the development team of an AI-powered web application. The application is a freemium AI-Essay Checker offering instant assessment, feedback, and personalised recommendations. Although the application currently exists in beta, it requires a series of improvements and additional features for full release. After the full release, we plan to expand into more use cases and features.

Location: Remote (CET time zone only), ready to coordinate with the US time zone

Technical qualification you`ll need to bring:

• At least 8 years of programming experience in web development
• Excellent working experience with Node.js, Nest.js
• Advanced experience with Next.js + React + MUI
  Good knowledge of the Postgres database
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Good knowledge of Git
• Authentication: Next-auth for authentication

• English - Upper-Intermediate+ for direct communication with foreign teammates and customers

   

In this role, you will be in charge of:

• Development of new modules
• Refactoring/extending existing functionality
• Writing unit/integration tests
• Set up task runners and build tools
• Collaboration with a team and PO
