Manual QA Engineer (Middle/Senior)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Middle/Senior Manual QA Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in testing mobile and web applications, backend APIs, and complex user flows.

You will work with Flutter & native mobile apps, web applications built with Next.js, and backend microservices that support real-time operations.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thoroughly validate application behavior across multiple platforms and environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end manual testing for mobile apps (Flutter, native Android/iOS, Web Apps)
• Test web applications built with Next.js, including cross-browser coverage
• Validate real-time data flows, WebSocket events, and notification handling
• Conduct smoke, sanity, regression, and exploratory testing
• Perform cross-device and cross-platform testing
• Review API endpoints using Postman or similar tools
• Create structured, clear, and reproducible bug reports with detailed steps and logs
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers
• Maintain test cases, checklists, and documentation in TestRail and Shortcut
• Participate in release validation and provide go/no-go recommendations
• Verify UX flows to ensure the interface matches expected behavior, user journey logic, and design specifications
• Validate end-to-end business flows, identifying missing steps, inconsistent states, or unclear interactions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Manual QA Engineer
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA best practices
• Experience testing mobile applications (Flutter or native)
• Experience testing web applications
• Solid experience validating API endpoints using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
• Ability to test real-time features (WebSockets, event-based updates, notifications)
• Experience working with microservices or distributed systems is a plus
• Strong knowledge of regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing
• Ability to identify, isolate, and document complex defects
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• English level: Advanced (C1)

Nice to Have:

• Basic knowledge of automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, or mobile automation frameworks)
• Experience with performance testing tools (k6, JMeter)
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with Docker, GCP, or other cloud platforms

• Experience testing event-driven systems or message queues
