Android Engineer

Tetracode is currently in search of a proficient Android Engineer passionate about Web3 technologies and experienced in Fintech and banking applications to become a part of our team and take on complex challenges while developing outstanding products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications with Web3 integration;
• Design and optimize user interfaces following Material Design principles;
• Develop and enhance features for Fintech and banking applications, such as payment systems, transaction tracking, and financial analytics;
• Integrate and configure Firebase services for Android applications;
• Work with cryptocurrency wallets, blockchain services, and financial APIs;
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry standards, addressing Web3 and Fintech-specific challenges;

• Collaborate closely with designers and backend developers to implement and test new features.

   

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing Android applications with Kotlin and Java;
• Proficient in Android Jetpack components, Compose, and Android design principles;
• Hands-on experience working with Firebase for data management and analytics;
• Strong understanding of Web3 and blockchain technologies (experience with Solana or Ethereum is a plus);
• Proven track record in developing Fintech or banking applications, including features like payment gateways, secure transactions, and financial tools;
• Familiarity with security practices relevant to Web3 and Fintech applications;
• Proficiency in Git for version control;
• Experience in crypto wallet development is a significant plus;

• Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) is an advantage.
