Middle Manual QA Engineer

We’re looking for 2 experienced QA Engineers to join a fast-growing SaaS platform used daily by thousands of schools, teams, and organizations. Our product allows users to easily create stunning graphics, videos, newsletters, and touchscreen experiences—all without design skills.

You’ll work on a complex, high-impact system with powerful editors, multi-workspace management, social integrations, and a wide range of interconnected modules that evolve constantly. What you’ll do

You’ll be responsible for testing a large-scale web application end-to-end, covering everything from feature validation to release checks and automation. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Manual testing across multiple interconnected modules (functional, regression, smoke, exploratory).
  • Reviewing requirements, identifying gaps, and turning them into clear test scenarios.
  • Prioritizing your testing based on risks, dependencies, and product impact.
  • Writing detailed bug reports with solid context (network logs, repro videos, environment/role details).
  • Cross-browser and cross-platform testing (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Windows/Mac/iOS/Android).
  • Testing OAuth/auth flows, email flows, role/permission logic, and workspace-based access control.
  • Working with complex editors (media uploading, drag-and-drop, rendering, animations, performance).
  • Validating deployments in both test/stage and production environments.
  • Maintaining and optimizing smoke/regression packs for fast and reliable releases.
  • Creating and maintaining automated tests in Playwright.
  • Collaborating closely with PMs, Leads, Developers, and Designers to ensure smooth releases.
  • Proactively spotting risks, inconsistencies, and hidden dependencies before they become issues.

What we’re looking for

Experience: 3–5 years in QA (manual focus, plus automation with Playwright).
Languages: English (B1+) and Ukrainian (Native).
Location: Remote, Europe.

Hard Skills

  • 2+ years of commercial QA work testing web products (SaaS ideal).
  • Strong experience with multi-module platforms and large, evolving systems.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, test design techniques, release processes.
  • Skilled at writing clear test cases, checklists, and structured bug reports.
  • API testing experience (REST, auth flows, integrations).
  • Strong use of DevTools (Network/Console/Storage/Application/Performance).
  • Experience testing social integrations, Stripe, HubSpot, Retool, etc.
  • Good knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS basics, DOM, cookies, CORS, OAuth.
  • Cross-browser + cross-platform testing (Web + Mobile browsers).
  • Experience with roles/permissions models and paid plan limitations.
  • Nice-to-have: testing visual editors, video processing, performance/load testing.
  • Experience with automation—Playwright required.
