We're looking for a Senior Frontend Angular Engineer who works equally well with both Angular and Vue.js, and has significant experience working with Accessibility on projects. Product for a scalable and modern SAAS and e-Commerce platform that provides printing services and has several million users worldwide.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Over 5 years of hands-on Angular experience
- Over 2 years of hands-on Vue.js experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of cross-device support and cross-browser issues.
- Exceptional HTML skills with a focus on web standards, semantic coding and accessibility (WCAG AA, screen readers, etc.).
- Strong CSS skills particularly for large websites: CSS Pre-processing (SASS, SCSS, mixins, variables, etc.), properties (including scroll behaviour)
- Familiar with User Experience/Usability concepts and best practices.
- Accuracy, reliability & vigilant attention to detail.
- Effective communication in English (Written & Spoken) and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiar with JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket (Git)
- Practical experience with testing frameworks (Jest/Vitest).
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, contributing to Agile ceremonies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in UI/UX design and development.
- Accessibility Advocate: Familiar with WCAG, ARIA, and ADA standards, and skilled in applying them to real-life e-commerce flows.
- Familiar with Accessibility Tools: Hands-on experience with automated tools like Axe, Lighthouse, and manual tools like screen readers, ensuring thorough testing.
Responsibilities
- You’ll team up with product managers and teams to refine and roll out new features.
- You will take responsibility in the design and execution of your own initiatives
- You’ll spot ways to improve the codebase and pitch in to make it better.
- You’ll often pair up with colleagues for code reviews, sharing feedback to sharpen skills and enhance the platform.
- You’ll tackle and fix key bugs or issues flagged in the system.
- You’ll join weekly coding or knowledge-sharing sessions, either leading or listening in.
- You’ll grow your soft skills, dive into best practices, and chat tech with your peers.
