Middle iOS Developer

We are looking for a Middle iOS Engineer to join the Nanit team.  

What will you do:

As an iOS Developer at Nanit, you will use your creativity, excellent problem solving and technical skills to design, implement, test and deploy an iOS application end to end. You will work at all layers of the stack and work closely with QA, designers, product managers and other engineering teams on complex and immersive projects. You will perform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback. You will stay ahead of the curve of the constantly evolving development ecosystem. Our team is already pushing the boundaries of mobile development with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Compose for iOS — so if you have experience with KMP or are eager to learn it's even better!

Requirements:

• 4+ years of iOS experience
• 3+ years of experience in Swift development
• Strong communicator in English and in general
• Excellent understanding of OOP concepts, multithreading and a strong passion for software development
• Thrilled about user experience, testing and clean code
• Ability to work independently in a pod (a pod is a small independant group of qa+dev+proudct+design) as a sole iOS developer. There are many iOS developers in the R&D group, but only one at every pod.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Android or Kotlin Multiplatform for Mobile (KMM)
• Work experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile — an advantage
