Senior Elixir Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer III to join our Operations Technology team’s efforts and help build, maintain, and evolve systems that support critical parts of our business. These systems power areas such as customer service, supply chain and logistics, and manufacturing operations. 
Full-time and long-term cooperation. Working hours within EST time zone.

Project: The company is a rapidly growing team reinventing the trading-card industry, backed by the world’s largest sports merchandiser and supported by extensive partnerships across major sports leagues.

Tech Stack:
Our stack is primarily Elixir-based, using the Phoenix Framework with LiveView for frontends. We use PostgreSQL for data storage and rely on an event-based architecture using RabbitMQ. Our infrastructure is deployed on AWS EKS using Terraform, and we use GitHub Actions to support continuous integration and deployment. 

What You’ll Do:

• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Review code for quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with product and design teams.
• Break down large initiatives into clear tasks.
• Improve performance and troubleshoot issues.

• Diagnose and fix bugs across services.

   

We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience. 
• Experience building web applications with Phoenix or similar frameworks. 
• Experience with LiveView is a plus but not required. 
• Experience building GraphQL and/or REST APIs. 
• Proficiency in Elixir and familiarity with functional programming concepts. 
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. 
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. 
• Understanding of web application security best practices. 
• Experience working with Git and pull request–based workflows. 
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. 
• Interest or experience in evented systems and CQRS concepts. 
• Experience integrating or working alongside legacy systems is a plus.
