DevOps Engineer (offline)

MISSION

Build tools or processes that make the whole team more efficient and effective
Thrive for pragmatic perfection, pay attention to the details of security, scalability, performance and fault-tolerance
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
Install and configure, test and maintain operating systems, databases, application software and system management tools
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
Create and maintain automated infrastructure to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on tasks
Provide application incident support and troubleshooting
Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders for proactive problem resolution

REQUIREMENTS

Experience working with large systems deployed on the cloud
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring on AWS
Experience with Amazon ECR, ECS, Aurora
Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with Gitlab, implementing CI/CD
Infrastructure as code, i.e. CloudFormation, Terraform
Experience with microservice architectures (discovery, meshing, fault-tolerance) would be a plus
Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault is nice to have
Higher education in computer science/technical field
Upper-intermediate level of English
Good communication skills
