FAVBET Tech develops software that is used by millions of players around the world for the international company FAVBET Entertainment.
We develop innovations in the field of gambling and betting through a complex multi-component platform which is capable to withstand enormous loads and provide a unique experience for players.
FAVBET Tech does not organize and conduct gambling on its platform. Its main focus is software development.

Main areas of work:

• Betting/Gambling Platform Software Development — software development that is easy to use and personalized for each customer.
• Highload Development — development of highly loaded services and systems.
• CRM System Development — development of a number of services to ensure a high level of customer service, effective engagement of new customers and retention of existing ones.
• Big Data — development of complex systems for processing and analysis of big data.

About the project:

We are looking for a Release Engineer to join our product.

Requirements:

• Communication & Coordination Skills:
   
  1. Exceptional ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, internal teams, external suppliers, and task reporters/executors;
  2. Skilled in negotiating and clarifying task scopes with reporters and executors to ensure alignment with release/hotfix/maintenance processes;
  3. Actively participate in improving release processes, procedures and policies in Confluence and integrating AI
• Time Management & Operational Efficiency:
   
  1. Proficient in coordinating production aspects and creating schedules that enhance productivity and operational stability;
  2. Experience in managing release timelines to meet deadlines without compromising system stability;
• Problem-Solving Skills:
   
  1. Strong ability to identify and mitigate risks during the release process;
  2. Aptitude for troubleshooting and deploying quick, effective solutions to keep releases and production operations on track during deviations;
• Technical Knowledge:
   
  1. Solid understanding of software development, deployment, and release management processes;
  2. Experience with tools like Jira/Confluence for managing release tasks, scope validation, and risk assessment;
• Process Improvement:
   
  1. Analytical mindset to identify areas for improvement in the release process, policies, and tools, with a focus on maximizing stability for production environments;
• Planning & Organization:
   
  1. Proficient in planning release windows and cycles across multiple portfolios and components;
  2. Strong skills in managing and coordinating release activities to ensure smooth execution.;
• Language Skills:
   
  1. At least Intermediate English level to facilitate clear communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.;
  2. Desirable with QA, Service Desk experience ;

Responsibilities:

• Release Management:
   
  1. Oversee and execute the entire release process to ensure timely and quality delivery of tasks;
  2. Coordinate release tasks to align with agreed timelines, environments, and scopes (e.g., release/hotfix/maintenance);
  3. Actively participate in improving release processes, procedures and policies in Confluence and integrating AI
• Task Scope Validation & Coordination:
   
  1. Interact with reporters and executors to validate the scope of release tasks in Jira, ensuring they meet release policy requirements;
  2. Align execution details such as task time, environments, and dependencies to reduce risks and optimize production stability;
• Risk Assessment & Quality Control:
   
  1. Evaluate risks associated with planned release tasks, factoring in their scope, complexity, and potential impact on production;
  2. Ensure all Jira tasks adhere to release process guidelines before deployment;
• Release Schedule Management:
   
  1. Maintain and communicate an up-to-date release schedule/roadmap;
  2. Plan and coordinate release windows and cycles across portfolios and components;
• Continuous Improvement:
   
  1. Actively refine and improve release processes, procedures, and policies in Confluence;
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to agree on updates and changes to the existing release policy;
• Reporting:
   
  1. Generate and share reports on project and release data based on company needs.
