Mobile Automation QA Engineer (Kotlin Multiplatform)

About the Project
It is an innovative platform providing 3D visualization and property documentation solutions.
We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Automation QA Engineer to join our team and help strengthen test automation coverage in a Kotlin Multiplatform environment.
This is a fast-moving, high-impact project where you’ll work closely with mobile developers, backend engineers, and QA leadership to ensure consistent product quality and smooth delivery cycles.

Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for Android and iOS apps using Appium with JavaScript/TypeScript (not Java)
• Collaborate with developers and QA to define clear testing strategies and automation priorities
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Identify, document, and track product defects
• Participate in regular code reviews and improve automation reliability and coverage
• Support regression, integration, and release testing activities

Requirements
• 1.5+ years of experience in QA automation (mobile testing focus)
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript-based mobile test automation (Appium preferred)
• Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform or Kotlin-based frameworks (e.g., Espresso, etc.)
• Solid understanding of Android and iOS testing principles
• Experience integrating tests with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Familiarity with manual mobile testing processes and debugging tools
• Strong communication skills and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher

Nice to Have
• Experience with Detox or Playwright for mobile
• Familiarity with backend or API testing
• Exposure to cloud device farms (e.g., BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab)
