Senior Front-End Developer ( React )

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer from Ukraine with 7+ years of React experience to join our partner’s development team in the Netherlands. This is a fully remote, freelance position — full-time and long-term.

In this role, you’ll be working on an AI agentic workforce platform in a dynamic, startup-like environment — where things move fast, ideas matter, and ownership is encouraged. Previous experience in startups or agile product teams will be a strong advantage.

Our partner is a global internet group and tech investor, building companies that empower people and create impact across sectors such as online classifieds, food delivery, fintech, education, healthcare, and social platforms.
 

    What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of front-end development experience
• Strong background in UX/UI design and translating requirements into interfaces
• Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Deep understanding of React, including hooks, state management, and functional components
• Experience with Styled Components for CSS-in-JS styling
• Strong TypeScript skills (types, interfaces, generics)
  
  What You’ll Do
• Turn ideas and designs into fully functional, production-ready code
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes with Figma or Adobe XD
• Build and optimize user interfaces for high-traffic applications using React, TypeScript, and Styled Components
• Translate UX/UI designs into responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
• Collaborate closely with the back-end team to integrate APIs and ensure smooth functionality
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
• Develop and maintain component libraries and design systems
• Work with product managers to turn business requirements into user-friendly designs
• Present and justify design decisions to stakeholders with clear, data-driven reasoning
  
  Nice-to-Have
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, S3, CloudFront) or Go
• Python scripting experience
