Senior Pixi.js Developer

Turbo Stars is a team dedicated to creating modern, high-quality slot games and gaming products.
We’re currently looking for an experienced Senior Pixi.js Developer - a talented engineer with strong Pixi.js expertise, leadership qualities, a passion for games, and a proactive approach to collaboration and process improvement.

You’ll play a key role in developing visually stunning and performant front-end experiences for our games, contributing to both technical excellence and creative vision.

Requirements:
- 4+ years of commercial experience with JavaScript / Pixi.js / Canvas
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, OOP, SOLID principles, Game Design Patterns, and Pixi.js.
- Solid understanding of game loops, timing, and frame-based animation
- Experience with TexturePacker, Spine, and asset optimization
- Knowledge of OOP and clean architecture principles
- Experience working with mobile web performance (low-end devices, FPS stability, memory leaks)
- Basic TypeScript experience (6+ months)
- Git, teamwork, and responsibility for clean, maintainable code

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize slot games using Pixi.js
- Implement and fine-tune animations, particle effects, and transitions
- Integrate and optimize art assets (sprites, spine, atlases)
- Work closely with designers to deliver pixel-perfect results
- Diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks and rendering issues
- Participate in code reviews and help define technical standards for performance

Bonus Skills:
- Understanding of slot mechanics (reels, tumbling, multipliers, etc.)
- Familiarity with MobX
- Experience with React integration (for UI overlays or slot shells)
- Interest in game development
