Sales Manager (IT / AI / Software Development)
We’re looking for a Sales Manager who’s experienced in tech sales, confident working with SMB clients, and eager to combine strategic thinking with modern AI tools.
What We Expect
- At least one closed deal within the first 3 months or 5 SQLs in the active pipeline.
- Strong understanding of Sloboda’s tech stack, industries, and expertise areas.
- Maintain an average project margin of 42%.
- $500K project income in the first year and $1.0M in the second.
- Proven success in closing SMB deals, especially outsourcing and outstaffing projects.
- Willingness to participate in occasional business trips for client meetings or industry events.
Your Main Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Manage leads and opportunities in HubSpot CRM and maintain an up-to-date pipeline.
- Work closely with the lead generation team to convert qualified prospects.
- Conduct presale calls with clients together with tech experts.
- Perform initial requirement gathering and validate leads through BANT.
- Lead developer–client interviews, and prepare developers for communication and alignment.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure transparent, profitable conditions for the company.
- Conduct kick-off meetings for new projects and ensure smooth delivery handover.
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Notion AI, SlidesAI, etc.) to:
- prepare customized proposals and presentations,
- support internal discussions and estimates,
- personalize outreach and analyze lead data.
- Work closely with the Delivery team to:
- ensure smooth communication with clients,
- resolve any project-related issues promptly,
- identify opportunities to expand existing accounts.
- Collaborate with Recruitment and HR teams to:
- select and present the most relevant candidates for outstaffing projects,
- ensure fast, high-quality staffing for client requests.
Finance & Account Coordination
Introduce clients to the Finance representative after contract signing.
Support communication regarding invoices and payments.
Send gentle reminders in case of delays or unanswered messages.
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience (IT, SaaS, AI, or outsourcing).
- Proven record of closing deals with SMB clients.
- Strong understanding of outstaffing and outsourcing models.
- IT industry knowledge and IT outsourcing specifics
- Fluent English (B2–C1) for daily client communication.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
- Willingness to attend international conferences, expos, and industry events to generate new business.
- Curiosity to research and test new market niches for growth opportunities.
- Strong experience in lead qualification using the BANT framework (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing)
- Interest in using AI tools to optimize sales and presale processes.
- Bonus: background or courses in project management or software development.
- Spanish or German would be an advantage
