General QA Engineer to $1350

Responsibilities:

• Performing testing of sprint tasks (functional and smoke testing);
• Executing regression testing before releases;
• Creating, updating, and maintaining test documentation (checklists, test cases);
• Developing and maintaining automated test scripts for Web and API using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, REST Assured;
• Analyzing automation test results and create detailed defect reports
• Collaborating closely with developers and product team to clarify requirements and reproduce issues;
• Suggesting improvements to testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC;
• Practical experience with automation testing using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium (UI automation);
• API automation experience using Postman and/or REST Assured.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or Java/Python (depending on the chosen automation framework);
• Experience writing and maintaining test cases, checklists, test plans;
• Experience with version control systems (Git);
• Ability to analyze logs, results, and detect root causes of failures;
• Ability to accelerate testing processes by leveraging AI tools (e.g., generating test scripts, test data, or documentation using AI);
   

Would be a plus:

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams;
• Knowledge of SQL and basic database querying for test validation;
• Experience with performance or load testing (e.g., JMeter, k6);
• Experience with test reporting dashboards (Allure, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.);
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and test execution in cloud pipelines;
• Familiarity with best practices of Clean Code and test automation architecture.
