Network Engineer

Location: Remote / Hybrid

About the role:
CHI Software is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves managing and supporting secure, high-performance network infrastructure for global clients. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability, implement advanced security solutions, and optimize connectivity.

Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot VPNs (including StrongSwan and GlobalProtect)
• Administer and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and related security policies
• Work with XDR solutions for endpoint protection and threat detection
• Support virtualization environments (e.g., VMware)
• Collaborate with other engineers to implement secure, scalable network architectures
• Perform network monitoring, optimization, and incident response
• Maintain documentation and contribute to process improvement

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with VPN technologies (GlobalProtect, StrongSwan)
• Proficiency in Palo Alto Networks products (firewalls, Panorama, etc.)
• Familiarity with Fortinet solutions
• Knowledge of XDR platforms and VMware administration
• Solid understanding of routing, switching, and network security principles
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Nice to have:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Security+)
• Experience with cloud networking or automation
