General QA Engineer (Java)

Boards is an Israeli-founded, mobile-first sales enablement platform designed to streamline communication and enhance productivity for direct sellers, distributors, and businesses of all sizes. The platform consolidates essential sales and marketing content, such as messages, images, videos, and links, into organized, shareable boards. This setup allows users to quickly access and distribute information, facilitating efficient customer interactions and team collaboration.
 

Technological stack: Java, Selenide, Appium.
 

Requirements:

• 4+ years of overall commercial experience in software quality assurance.
• 2+ years of test automation experience (Java/Kotlin).
• Solid experience testing mobile applications, both manually and using automation (Appium).
• Demonstrated experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Experience with API testing (e.g., REST Assured, Postman).
• Upper-Intermediate English to be able to collaborate effectively on a remote international team.
• Strong soft skills: excellent communication, proactivity, and a positive attitude.
   

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test cases, and perform web & mobile manual testing — 50% of the workload.
• Implement automation tests for native and web applications — 50% of the workload.
• Collaborate with the development, QA, and product teams to understand project requirements.
