Performance QA Engineer

FAVBET Tech develops software that is used by millions of players around the world for the international company FAVBET Entertainment.
We develop innovations in the field of gambling and betting through a complex multi-component platform which is capable to withstand enormous loads and provide a unique experience for players.
FAVBET Tech does not organize and conduct gambling on its platform. Its main focus is software development.
 

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance the existing Performance Testing Framework;
• Develop and optimize performance tests to increase coverage;
• Define and validate workload and resource requirements;
• Perform code reviews;
• Plan, execute, and analyze performance testing results;
• Prepare detailed test reports and performance metrics;
• Continuously improve the performance testing approach and strategy;
• Collaborate with development, management, and stakeholders to ensure consistent test execution;
• Share knowledge and best practices with Automation QA team members;
• Gather and maintain test data for performance testing;
• Define and track delivery objectives and tasks together with management.
   

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in performance testing;
• Hands-on experience with Load, Performance, Stress, and Volume testing;
• Strong experience with JMeter (required);
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Groovy, or Python;
• Experience with API (REST) and microservices testing;
• Solid technical testing background (logs analysis, SQL, XML, MongoDB, etc.);
• Understanding or experience with Kubernetes;
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies;
• Experience working with CI/CD tools;
• Competence in DevOps-related skills;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
   

Nice to Have

• Experience in building a performance testing framework from scratch;
• Positive, proactive, and open-minded communication style;
• Initiative in improving testing processes and frameworks.
   

Trial Period Goals

• Get familiar with and enhance the existing Performance Testing Framework;
• Develop and extend performance test coverage;
• Analyze performance results and prepare reports;
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to refine testing strategies;
• Contribute to improving the overall performance testing approach and documentation.
