Role Overview

As Director of Sales (Ukraine), you will lead the company’s business development and relationship management activities within the Ukrainian defense and security ecosystem.

This role is about building structured, sustainable cooperation with the Ministry of Defense (MoD)military units, and government entities. You’ll serve as the key liaison between the company and national stakeholders, managing both the strategic and operational aspects of partnerships.

You will also play a pivotal role in navigating the defense procurement framework, supporting certification and documentation processes, and ensuring a seamless end-to-end user experience for deployed technologies.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with MoD representatives, military units, and other government stakeholders.
     
  • Identify and develop opportunities within the defense, security, and government procurement sectors.
     
  • Lead the sales strategy in Ukraine — from pipeline development to negotiation and closing.
     
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring that proposed solutions align with real operational needs.

     

Account & Project Management

  • Oversee ongoing contracts and ensure smooth communication between clients and internal teams.
     
  • Support coordination between technicallegal, and logistics teams for successful delivery and implementation.
     
  • Ensure the end-user experience meets military operational standards.

     

Procurement & Certification

  • Manage and navigate Ukrainian defense procurement procedures and certification workflows.
     
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and guide clients through approval documentation.
     
  • Support internal preparation of tender materials and bid documentation.

     

Marketing & Communication

  • Prepare or adapt presentation materials and documentation using defense-sector language and MoD terminology.
     
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly to military and government audiences.
     

 

What We’re Looking For

You are a strategic relationship builder - someone who knows how to structure cooperation, manage processes, and represent an advanced tech company in the defense ecosystem. At the same time you succeed at creating order from chaos structuring operations in a startup environment.

 

Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
     
  • Ability to navigate bureaucratic and legal frameworks efficiently.
     
  • Experience with CRM systems for managing accounts and pipelines.
     
  • Capacity to translate technical solutions into clear value propositions for defense audiences.
     
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
     

Experience

  • Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management within defense, security, or government procurement.
  • Strong understanding of Ukrainian defense procurementcertification, and documentation processes.
  • Background in militaryMinistry of Defense, or defense technology sales is highly desirable.
