AWS Cloud Engineer with Go

We’re seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with proficiency in Go to join a forward-thinking team powering next-generation medical light therapy systems.

This role involves building and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, backend services, and database solutions. 

A solid background in AWS and databases is essential, while experience in DevOps is a plus.

Must-Have Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services (VPC, Security Groups, AWS Connect, Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with RDS and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Experience with Golang.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services using AWS and Terraform.
• Implement and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS environments (VPC, Security Groups, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, etc.).
• Develop backend services and serverless functions using Golang.
• Work with RDS and PostgreSQL to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and support cloud-native solutions.
• Monitor system performance, ensure reliability, and troubleshoot infrastructure and service issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and infrastructure.
• Follow best practices for infrastructure as code, security, and cloud architecture.

Overlap time requirements:

• Flexible schedule with ~4-hour coverage during morning client hours (till 12 PM PST).
