Middle Manual QA Engineer

Blackthorn Vision is looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team. We create a platform for visualizing big data. The platform will be used by the investment companies and their advisers to calculate, project, and reflect different investment possibilities. 

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience working in teams employing Agile and/or Lean methodologies;
• Understanding of Quality Assurance Lifecycle and software development lifecycle;
• Database testing experience with relational databases and SQL;
• Strong experience in API testing;
• Experience in creating/maintaining test documentation;
• Experience in web and desktop application testing;
• Experience in designing the test strategy and setting the testing process from scratch;
• Experience working with financial, banking or big data visualization Applications;
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment;
• Upper-intermediate English level;

• Analytical thinking.

   

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute various types of test cases, work with different types of testing;
• Creation and maintenance of the testing documentation;
• Performing backend tests (work with API, DBs, Logs);
• Analyze and report test results, track defects and participate in other daily QA routines;
• Communicate with team members.
