Senior Java Engineer

We are seeking a passionate Senior Java Engineer (Poland location) to join our team and work with a top-notch technology stack in a friendly, cozy atmosphere. As a Java Engineer on the Inventory Positioning team, you will be responsible for:

• Helping build and improve frameworks to solve business problems.
• Writing clean, reliable code and contributing to project design.
• Learning from and collaborating with senior engineers on architecture and best practices.
• Taking ownership of parts of a project and helping break work into smaller tasks.
• Supporting cross-team projects by providing input on design and development.
• Helping diagnose and fix performance or security issues.
• Assisting in troubleshooting and root cause analysis across systems.
• Identifying potential issues in current designs and suggesting improvements.
• Following industry standards for secure and reliable software development.
• Learning about telemetry solutions and applying them where needed.
• Contributing to team standards and documentation.

The team is working with the set of services that are used daily by external users. Though, in scope of the cloud transformation, we aim to increase scalability, improve performance, cost, and security. In order to do this, we are rebuilding the ecosystem: some legacy services will be replaced by the new ones, which will be built with a modern approach (k8s, AWS, Kafka).
