Mission & Purpose

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll build and maintain high quality, easy to use client facing web interfaces using the latest AI-assisted development practices.

Duties & Objectives

• Use AI-assistance to quickly gain deep product and area knowledge
• Write performant code and maintain up-to-date documentation
• Work closely with design teams to fix issues before implementation starts
• Contribute to identifying UX/UI issues and propose solutions
• Emphasize simplicity and rapid resolution in code reviews.
• Think critically when implementing features and question all requirements
• Gain deep product knowledge and user preferences to identify and implement “quick wins”
• Demo successful workflows to the team

Your Training Data

Must-Haves

• Excellent knowledge of browser security practices (CSRF, CORS, etc)
• Excellent knowledge of computer science fundamentals (stack, heap, pointers, data structures, algorithms, etc)
• Excellent knowledge of web technologies and tools like JavaScript, TypeScript, React (or similar modern framework)
• Understanding of software design principles and ability to write clear, clean, maintainable code that scales
• Experience with NextJS (Gatsby would be a nice to have)
• Experience investigating and improving JavaScript performance
• Good understanding of web and networking protocols (HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, DNS, etc)
• Experience with web performance best practices (Caching, SSR vs SSG)

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience maintaining open source software
• Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Grafana
