General QA Engineer (Web)

Team Summary

Our QA team is responsible for ensuring the quality of web-based solutions through a combination of manual and automated testing. Operating as a small QA team, we value collaboration, direct communication, and cross-functional expertise among our members. With a strong emphasis on automation, we maintain high test coverage across the project and ensure that our frameworks evolve alongside the product. Our goal is to provide confidence in releases, minimize manual effort, and support continuous delivery through reliable and scalable QA practices.

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and open-minded QA Engineer. You will be responsible for the validation of web applications, integrations, taking care of testing sets creation, extending and maintaining automation test coverage, and reporting issues to guarantee the quality of products and raise high-quality standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Understand QA processes, techniques, approaches, methodologies, and software development lifecycle, and have the ability to apply the knowledge in daily operations
• Process a mix of manual and automation test tasks (Python, Pytest, Selenium/Selene)
• Validate the quality of multiple products by establishing a state-of-the-art QA process in a fast-paced environment
• Estimate the required efforts to perform a full cycle of existing and new features’ validation
• Communicate with stakeholders and provide reports on the product’s quality and its readiness for production
   

Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years of experience in QA
• Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies
• Experience in writing test documentation
• Experience with web-based applications testing
• Proficiency in Python for test automation (backend or UI automation)
• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins)
• Experience with DB and SQL
• Experience in UNIX/Linux
• Experience with TestRail, Jira
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Basic familiarity with AWS services
• Understanding of network principles
• Basic knowledge in computer vision and machine learning
• Practical experience with TestOps
