Technical Lead Node.js + React to $6200

We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Lead who can balance coding with leadership. You’ll guide a distributed team of developers while staying close to the code, designing architecture, reviewing pull requests, and making sure the product scales smoothly and performs like a dream.

What you’ll do

• Lead and mentor a small team of developers working with Node.js and React.
• Define architecture, review code, and drive best engineering practices.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver new features.
• Optimize performance, handle integrations (APIs, databases, 3rd-party services).
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, testing, and version control workflows.

What we expect

• 8+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years in a tech lead or senior leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Familiar with REST APIs, component-based architecture, and modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, Git, and authentication flows (JWT, OAuth).
• Excellent English (C1+), you’ll be working in an international team.

Bonus points for

• Experience with Next.js, NestJS, or serverless/microservices.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
