Middle Android Engineer

Job Description

The team focuses on developing mobile solutions that support cutting-edge technologies used on a global scale.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin (and Java, if required for legacy modules)
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and modern Android architectures (MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture)
• Collaborate with designers and product owners to create intuitive, polished user interfaces
• Integrate apps with RESTful APIs, SDKs, and cloud-based services
• Participate in code reviews and write unit and instrumentation tests to ensure high code quality
• Optimize applications for performance, stability, and responsiveness
• Contribute to the CI/CD process and continuous improvement of the mobile development workflow

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Android development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android Jetpack components
• Solid understanding of Coroutines, ViewModel, LiveData, and Dependency Injection frameworks
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Retrofit, and Room database
• Familiarity with Git, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven experience in publishing applications to Google Play and managing release cycles
• Intermediate or higher level of English (for communication within international teams)
