Back-end Developer (Python / Java) RFP Project, Start in December

Project type: RFP (Request for Proposal) - potential engagement starting December
 

About the project

We are preparing for participation in an RFP for a French Federation (FFF).
The project focuses on developing scalable, secure, and data-driven back-end services for a modern digital platform in the public sector.
We are currently identifying skilled back-end developers to join the team once the project is confirmed.
 

Must have

• Strong experience in back-end development using Python (Django / Flask) or Java (Spring Boot)
• Proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security best practices
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
• Version control using Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps)
   

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also relevant)
• Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (PyTest, JUnit) and code quality tools
• Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Experience working in multinational or distributed teams
   

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in back-end software development
• Proven record of delivering production-level APIs or enterprise systems
