Head of Operations

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Operations to lead and grow the commercial operations of our fast-growing home services business. This executive role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, optimizing pricing, and ensuring customer acquisition and retention across our service lines.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the home services or related industries, with expertise in sales strategy, market expansion, customer experience, and team leadership.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth & Revenue Development
    Design and execute commercial strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
    Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and service verticals.
    Lead pricing, bundling, and promotional strategies to maximize profitability.

    Sales & Marketing Leadership
    Oversee sales operations and performance metrics for B2C and B2B channels.

    Collaborate with marketing to drive lead generation and improve conversion rates.
    Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.

    Team Leadership & Performance Management
     Build and manage high-performing sales, business development, and account management teams.

    Mentor regional managers or franchise owners (if applicable).

    Implement KPI-driven performance monitoring systems.
     

  • Customer Experience & Retention

    Improve customer satisfaction and loyalty through service excellence initiatives.

    Oversee CRM implementation and customer lifecycle strategies.

    Ensure consistency in service delivery across markets.
     

  • Operational Efficiency

    Work closely with operations to align capacity with demand.

    Lead initiatives to reduce customer acquisition costs and increase ROI.

    Support digital transformation and tech adoption in customer and sales processes.
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
     
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial or sales leadership roles, ideally within home services or a closely related industry.
     
  • Strong understanding of field service operations, pricing models, and regional market dynamics.
  • Experience managing multi-state or national commercial strategies.

    Proven ability to scale revenue through partnerships, digital channels, and operational efficiency.
    Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

     

Preferred Experience

Exposure to franchise or multi-location business models.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and scheduling/dispatch tools.

Experience with seasonal demand forecasting and workforce planning.
 

Background in private equity-backed or high-growth environments is a plus.
