SRE Engineer

We are looking for an SRE Engineer to join our team!
 

Requirements:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency with AWS cloud services and architecture
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (Terragrunt experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems, preferably Grafana stack (Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Grafana)
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud and infrastructure environments
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language: Python, Bash, or Go
 

Will be plus:

- Hands-on experience with ArgoCD or other GitOps tools
Background in high-load systems, fintech, or regulated industries
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of cost-optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure (FinOps practices)
- Familiarity with running autotests, including custom user flow
- Familiarity with chaos engineering principles and tools
- Active contribution to open-source DevOps tools or projects

Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain comprehensive observability systems for monitoring, logging, and tracing
- Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 system availability
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high system reliability and uptime (SLA/SLO compliance)
- Conduct regular post-incident reviews (postmortems) and implement preventive measures
- Define and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for repeatable and reliable environments
- Develop and optimize CI/CD processes for smooth and efficient software delivery
- Manage containerized workloads and orchestrate services using Kubernetes
- Automate routine operational tasks to reduce manual intervention and toil
- Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies
Security & Compliance
- Apply DevSecOps practices to ensure compliance with industry security standards
- Manage secrets, access control policies, and infrastructure security configurations
- Implement and maintain security scanning and vulnerability management in CI/CD pipelines
- Support security audits and compliance processes where required
- Ensure proper network segmentation and secure communication between services
- Work closely with development teams to improve application reliability and performance
- Document infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures
- Share knowledge and mentor team members on SRE best practices
- Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization initiatives
