Mobile Senior Engineering Team Lead

In a partnership with one of the global consulting enterprises, we are looking for a Mobile Senior Engineering Team Lead to oversee the delivery and performance of the Account Mobile QA engineering squad. This role combines strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to guide a high-performing team toward delivering high-quality mobile solutions aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a background in mobile development, capable of driving execution, supporting engineers’ growth, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Engineering Manager.
• Ensure effective delivery of the mobile engineering squad’s roadmap, tracking progress against business and technical objectives.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Product Owners, and Principal Engineers to plan and prioritize the team roadmap in alignment with business needs.
• Support the professional growth and development of team members through mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback.
• Partner with engineering leadership to maintain an environment that enables engineers to perform at their best and produce high-quality, maintainable software.
• Participate in and support the recruitment of talented mobile engineers as the team expands.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams to deliver successful software solutions from design and build through to deployment and live support.
• Experience managing teams’ workloads and roadmaps based on capacity and strategic priorities.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on creating an empowering, collaborative, and growth-oriented team culture.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of mobile development best practices, including coding standards, CI/CD, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience in native mobile application development for either iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
