Senior Rust Developer (Solana)

Our customer is the first hyper-performant and horizontally scalable blockchain network designed to enable trustless computing at internet scale.

Our customer is comprised of a team spanning backgrounds from Harvard, CMU, DFINITY, VMWare, Galaxy Digital, and more, and is backed by top-tier institutions like Founders Fund, Kraken Ventures, SALT, Amber Group, and more.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Rust in production environments, ideally in performance-critical systems.
• Proven track record working with real-time data streams, preferably via high-load WebSocket servers.
• Experience in parsing and processing Solana on-chain data or similar blockchain ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of system design, networking, and performance optimization in distributed environments.
• Experience with low-level programming (Rust / C / C++ / Zig) and writing reliable, production-grade software.

• Upper-Intermediate English

   

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement core backend components in Rust to support large-scale, real-time data processing.
• Work with Solana data parsing pipelines, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of on-chain information.
• Build and optimize high-performance WebSocket infrastructure capable of handling heavy traffic loads.
• Collaborate with the team on architecture decisions and performance tuning to ensure low latency and high reliability.
• Contribute to internal tooling and infrastructure improvements to support scalability as the network grows.
