Information Security Manager

We are growing, evolving, and have successfully confirmed that our information security processes comply with international standards by obtaining ISO/IEC 27001 certification. Now, to help ensure continued compliance with these standards and support the company’s further development, we are inviting an experienced Information Security Manager for part-time collaboration.

 

Key responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 requirements,  including conducting internal audits, monitoring corrective actions, and keeping documentation up to date.
  2. Deliver training sessions for the Innoware team on the fundamentals of information security.
  3. Participate in projects of implementation and support of Microsoft solutions in the field of cyber and information security, based on the relevant technology stack (including configuring security policies, monitoring internal system threats, etc.).
  4. Obtain Microsoft certification.
  5. Maintain and update the information security policy, ensure its enforcement, and carry out relevant activities.
  6. Advise the System Engineering Team on protecting information systems, including: 
  • monitoring and analyzing threats and vulnerabilities of the company’s information systems,
  • identifying incidents and ensuring their resolution,
  • managing and ensuring information security when working with third parties (suppliers, partners) during integration of external services, etc.,
  • monitoring compliance with data security standards (data storage, management, and deletion)
  • selecting and implementing security tools and solutions (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.).

 

Our expectations regarding candidates’ experience and knowledge:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in obtaining IT certification (ISO 27001, SOC, etc.) and/or supporting compliance with such certification requirements. Experience in undergoing information security audits. Understanding of Microsoft best practices and information security requirements in accordance with standards, in particular ISO 27001.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience:
  • Would be a plus: experience working with Windows Server (2019 and higher), Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint), SQL Server (2019 and higher).
  • Understanding of the Secure SDLC process.
  • Experience in writing documentation.
  • Fluent in Ukrainian; English proficiency at Intermediate/B1 level or higher.
  • Higher technical education.

1. Network Security: firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure web gateways, Kerio VPN in particular.

2. Endpoint Security: Microsoft Defender (admin center).

3. Identity and Access Management: Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID

4. Security Operations and Incident Response: Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Policy.

 

Soft skills: systematic thinking, ability to work both independently and in a team, focus on results and high-quality performance.
