Automation QA Engineer (Playwright/TypeScript)

White Test Lab is looking for a motivated Automation QA Engineer to join our growing team and work on a challenging, ongoing project. You’ll be helping to ensure high-quality software delivery by automating tests using Playwright and TypeScript. REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using Playwright and TypeScript (experience with Cypress or Selenium is a plus).
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript for writing robust automated test scripts.
• Experience with API testing (tools like Postman, Playwright API, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong knowledge of Git and Git flow.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Understanding of OOP principles and design patterns in automation.
• Experience with Docker for setting up test environments.
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation during testing.
• Strong focus on code quality and best practices.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher for communication with the international team.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Conduct manual and automated testing when necessary.
• Clearly document and report bugs, working closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and optimize test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for smooth deployment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, etc.).
• Maintain up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Execute regression tests for software releases to ensure stability and performance.
