About the Role:
As a Manual QA Engineer in the Network team, you’ll be the voice of quality inside Coro’s fast-moving R&D teams. Every release you greenlight is a release that shields thousands of SMBs from ransomware, phishing, and data breaches. This role is about designing rigorous, thoughtful test strategies, validating new modules, and driving efficiency so the platform stays resilient as it grows.
You’ll focus on manual testing while at some point gaining opportunities to grow into automation, collaborating closely with developers and product teams in a dynamic, agile environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full quality lifecycle for new and existing features, including planning, manual testing, regression, and release support.
- Perform manual testing across multiple platforms, dedicating approximately 60% of your time to desktop applications (Windows & Mac), 30% to web applications, and 10% to mobile applications (iOS & Android), with opportunities to grow into automation and streamline manual testing cycles over time.
- Collaborate closely within cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, team leads) to ensure product quality, reliability, and user experience.
- Participate in feature kickoff meetings; create and execute test plans from requirements and design documents.
- Analyze logs to identify errors and exceptions, providing input for debugging, while managing and documenting QA activities in Jira through clear, well-structured bug reports and test cases.
- Support release processes, including regression/smoke testing and quarterly or monthly Sunday release cycles (with compensatory time off).
Required Competence and Skills:
- 5+ years of Manual testing expertise, with potential to grow into automation.
- Experience with end-to-end testing with desktop and web applications
- Experience in testing mobile applications.
- Experience with test plan and test management tools
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge in network security (VPN, ZTNA, etc.) - big advantage
